This is the download page for the OLD version of Music Catalogue
Master (version 3). If you are looking to download the latest version,
please click here. However, version 4 will
not work with Windows 95 - version 3 will - so if you have Windows 95 as
your operating system, please feel free to download version 3 and try it
out!
Try Before You Buy!
Music Catalogue Master 3 is
shareware, which means it is free to try before you buy. Once you have
downloaded and installed it, the program will fully function for 21
days. If you like the program, you can buy it
and use it as much as you want for as long as you
want. If you find it doesn't meet your requirements, you can simply
uninstall it - with nothing lost.
System Requirements
-
IBM compatible PC with a Pentium class (or
equivalent) processor
-
Windows 9x/ME/NT 4/2000/XP (Music Catalogue
Master will not run under Windows 95)
-
32 MB of RAM
-
Mouse and keyboard
-
11 MB of available hard drive space (total required
depends on the numbers of CDs/records entered)
Installing Music Catalogue Master 3
The setup files for Music Catalogue Master version 3 are downloaded
in a self-extracting zip file called mcm30.exe. The following are the
step-by-step instructions for installing Music Catalogue Master onto
your computer:
- Double-click My Computer on your
desktop or start Windows Explorer and go to the folder where
you downloaded the file mcm30.exe.
- Double-click this file to bring up the Music
Catalogue Master extraction window.
- If you want to change the folder that the
setup files will be extracted into, click the Browse Button and
select the folder that want to extract the files to (optional).
- Ensure that "Run after extraction:
setup.exe" has a check mark in the box in front of it. This
ensures that the setup program automatically runs after the files
are extracted.
- Click the Extract Button. If you get
the error message "No CE Signature Found ...", it means
that the file has been corrupted during download. Unfortunately, you
will have to download
it again.
- After all the files have been extracted, the Music Catalogue
Master setup program will automatically run. Simply follow the
instructions as they come up on the screen to finish the program
installation.
That is all you need to do! You can start using Music
Catalogue Master 3 right away by looking for a shortcut in your Start
Button -> Programs or on your desktop.
